Happily Single

Some days ago, met a friend over dinner. She told me that when you wake up every morning, she will lament over the fact that she is now 35 and still single. She told me she got no time to waste and is time to get something done.

We had a good laugh and share some feelings over recent "love encounters".

She may be right that we do not have much time to waste and should get back on track in our life in no time as "life time" should not be waste. We might not know when it could end and it might be a sudden thing.

I read this " It's a big mistake to depend on someone else to complete your life and bring you happiness. Being happy is D-I-Y. Depending on someone else for your happiness is handing over control and responsibility to that person. Which not only puts you in a wobbly situation, it's unfair to the other party.
Marriage and a family is not the only key to your eternal happiness. The fact that many marriages end in divorce should give you a clue that marriage does not guarantee happiness"

See how you can achieve greater self-sufficiency. When we are independent, we need less from others and will expect less from them. What are the gaps in your life you now require others to fill? How can you work towards filling them yourself?
