I read this interesting article about a man selling his entire life including his house, job, car and even his friends up for sale online after a painful breakup with his wife. He wants to start afresh after realising that most of the things in his life remind him of the relationship with his wife of 5 years. He is selling a one time introduction to his friends and trial run at his job- a plan endorsed by his pals and his employer. He plans to auction and accept the last bid. This man says " My current thoughts are to then head to the airport with the money and ask at the flight desk where the next flight with an available seat goes to, and to get on that and see where life takes me from there."
Interestingly, his employer support his act of selling his job. This world is getting so innovative. The person whom buys his "life" will get the job and friends? I find it hard to believe. Can we really forget the person this way? I admired his courage, how i wish i can sell my merge belongings including my family and with the $$$ disappear far away from Singapore and assume another person identity somewhere out there? Living a life of freedom? This thought is too much to digest.
But i guess i will miss ah boy.........
