Alexandra Hospital

I was back to the hospital i was born in for a pre-employment check up yesterday. The service is good and efficient, experience was perfect.

The funny thing about this hospital is that i feel is a very "friendly" place, if i enter other hospital i won't feel this way. Its the atmosphere and probably the trees and the sun and the air there. Is bright and the celling is low.

I was born there in 1977, i was back again for my appendix removal in 1986. I remember visiting grandma once too.

No doubt the trip was pleasant, and the memory too.

Some history about Alexandra Hospital:
1930's to 1971: British Military HospitalAfter World War II to 1971, British Military Hospital remained as one of the most modern hospitals.
1971 to 1990's: The formative years as Alexandra Hospital
In 1971, the British Military Hospital was handed over to the Government of Singapore with a token sum of $1. It was renamed Alexandra Hospital and was officially opened to the public in September the same year.
