Gratitude at work

We spend most of our waking hours at work. Following the seminar, the speaker mention gratitude, i can't help but agree with her.

I learnt my lessons the hard way and believe me, really hard. I can't be more grateful for having a JOB now as compare to 3 months back. I quited a simple ( boring) and well paid job out of anger. Quited without a job? Yes. I did that before and i thought i be lucky again. But thereafter i fall sick for 2 weeks and had a hard time finding a job. U might ask, Accountant are needed in every company, how come so difficult. Yes, finding a GOOD job is never easy. Cause there are no GOOD jobs around.

What i have learnt when i was jobless for 3 months.

1. It is not so grand to quit without a job and NEVER do that

2.Realise that you cannot be lucky the second time

3.Having a job is important, it gives you mental security

4.Being jobless makes you "loose face" in front of your friends

5. People might be thinking " what's wrong with you?, can't seem to hold a job"

6.You might enjoy the free days, but not for long cause you won't have that mood

7.It is difficult to keep the spirit up during those period, can't help but feel demoralised

8.Make sure you are financially sound if you want to quit without a job

9.Think twice and always have a contingency plan. Don't act out of anger.

10. There are no perfect job, all job have its good and bad agenda

I am very grateful that i have learnt the lessons and passed those months. Thank you for all the support and kindness rendered to me during those trying times....and you know whom i am referring to.
